Bredfield - A village in Suffolk, England

A village situated (location or local map, satellite) in the county of Suffolk, UK is about 3 miles north of Woodbridge and 12 miles east of Ipswich.  It may be small in size but has significant community spirit, an excellent Village Hall, a community shop and a pub.  A Parish Plan  (and update) was produced in 2006 and provides useful background.  Currently there are just over 300 people living in 140 dwellings.  A few photos and sketches of Bredfield.

The Web site provides basic information regarding Bredfield.  The bredfield.org.uk domain is also used for specific organisational rather than personal email addresses. The domain is personally registered to Tony Bence,  who currently acts as booking secretary for the Bredfield Village Hall and was Chairman of the Bredfield & District Community Council (BDCC) until its dissolution in 2007.  A rather old version of their printed Guide can still be viewed.
